Professor Lebel's research projects are centered on nitrogen bearing compounds, focusing on both their synthesis and their reactivity. The projects involve the latest technologies to streamline synthetic processes such as continuous flow chemistry and organometallic catalysis, while being more environmentally friendly by using the principles of green chemistry. There are four research areas that are currently developed by the group:
